What a wonderful match, remember to always watch out for the underdog with nothing to lose.
It should have been impossible. Only 2 or 3 Northampton players would get into that Leinster 15. They'd had a terrible league season, only recently reaching the heady heights of seventh place. They had key injuries all over their lineup. Furbank, Hendy, Sleightholme, Pearson, and Odendaal just off the top of my head. Three of their players were sent to the bin, whereas Leinster didn't have any.
A staggering achievement against all odds.
When you see a rugby match so epic and played to such a high standard as both of these teams, it really is a shame that there has to be one winner. Well done the Saints and commiserations Leinster. Wow!!!

Why these narrow defences these days? Whatever system they are running the winger should never leave his opposite number with enough room to break on the outside. Seems to happen a lot.
